Oregon Law Enforcement Emerald Society
Training

David Thompson
Training Coordinator

"Training should be geared toward the motivated sociopath, period.  Those who choose to comply- will.  Those who don't will test your mettle.  The truth is the training.  You can't fake endurance.  You can't buy confidence.  You can't buy experience.  When preparation meets reality, youll get your experience.  Stay safe.  Train with integrity it's your duty; it's your call."

   - Tony Blauer

The contents of this page will be periodically updated to include:
Dates, locations, contact information, and cost of Law Enforcement related training that is beneficial to Emerald Society members, spouses and families.  Generally this information will be training that will serve to increase skill related to tactical application, but often will also include
courses regarding crisis intervention and the like.
I will periodically include articles, papers, and reading material that will hopefully serve to create an atmosphere of hope and help for those individuals and families struggling to maintain a healthy "cop family" relationship.  Given that the Oregon Law Enforcement Emerald Society is, in part, dedicated to creating a family friendly environment and network of support for each other, it is my desire to assist all of us in that end as much as possible.
If you have information that you would like to see included in the training section feel free to contact me by email at got-your-6@attbi.com  or   gotyour6@policeone.com

physical in nature with about 4 hours of hands on technique.  It is also
